Clarence D Collins' Obituary
Clarence D. Collins 99, of Largo, FL died February 2, 2018. Clarence was born August 28, 1918, in Grayslake, Illinois. He served in the US Army during World War II in the Medical Corp in Europe. He was a Lifetime Member of the American Legion and the VFW. Clarence lived and worked in Grayslake for the first half of his life. He was married to Dorothe Radke Collins for 33 years. She proceeded him in death (1973). Clarence married Anne Cassidy Collins in 1976. They moved to Largo in 1979. Anne passed away in 2015. In Grayslake, Clarence was a Village Trustee for 4 years and served the Grayslake Volunteer Fire Department for twenty-seven years. Clarence will be remembered as a kind, caring and wonderful man who enjoyed serving others. A private family service will be held at a later date.
