Claudia M Curtis' Obituary
Claudia M Curtis was born in Waterbury, Connecticut on January 24,1946 to parents A. Lincoln and Edna Barrett German. Claudia was a dedicated nurse who worked for over 30 years, with many of those years helping patients in the emergency room at Waterbury Hospital. Claudia and her husband of 31 years, Richard, moved to Florida from Connecticut in 1999 to enjoy the sunshine. She loved to kayak, play golf, go to the beach, her dog Buddy, and a good cosmopolitan. Claudia was known for her signature apple pie. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchidren. Claudia passed away suddenly on December 12, 2021. She is predeceased by her husband, Richard (2017); brother, Lt. Bromley German (1968); her stepson, Thomas Curtis (2009). Survivors include her son, Brian Green; daughters, Claudia Deemer (Michael), Katherine Bryan (Stacy) and stepdaughter, Deborah Curtis; brothers, Col. (ret) A. Lincoln German (Jane), David German (Peggy); and grandchildren, Jack, Jeremy, Aidan, Shannon, Patrick, Emily, Katie, Luke, Sierra and Sam. A memorial service is planned in Connecticut in March 2022.
