Colleen Kelly Ballard, Passed away on October 19, 2023, in Palm Harbor FL, at the age 69. She was the beloved wife of David Ballard.
Colleen was born Chicago, Illinois on January 17, 1954, to the late Robert and Kathleen Kelly.
She Moved here in 1985 from Cary, Illinois, and worked as a Realtor with Remax
Colleen is Survived by her son Brendan Ballard, and her daughter Meaghan Ballard.
She is predeceased by her sister, Maureen Remsing.
Colleen was a proud, tenacious, and hardworking woman who valued honesty above anything. She loved her family and friends dearly and loved spending all the time that she could with them. Colleen was very proud of her Irish heritage and made sure you knew it. She saw the world in her younger years as a hairdresser on a cruise ship that brought travelers moving from England to Australia. That love for traveling continued in her later years where she was a frequent passenger on the Smooth Jazz cruise that visited the islands in the Caribbean. Her last few years were quiet, but she was always the happiest to hear from and see her family, whom she treasured so much.
