Craig Lewis Johnson's Obituary
Craig L. Johnson passed away on Dec 21, 2015, after a short battle with cancer. Born and raised in Duluth, MN, Craig was the dear son of Cameron and Betty Johnson. He is survived by his companion Lynn Olson, former wife Debbie Zaudtke, his loving children; Amy Novitzki, Lindsey Johnson and Katy Johnson, siblings; Mark, Kevin, Denae Nadeau and Denise Porter, grandchildren; Tori, Tyler, Jack and Annie Rose.
Craig enjoyed life as a youth, eventually became a policeman and served in Duluth for many years. He moved to Florida in 2009 to care for his parents and enjoyed the climate here. Blessed with many talents, he was a do it yourself builder, song writer, self-taught guitarist and singer. Craig also liked to travel when the opportunity presented itself, particularly with Lynn in their travel trailer. Craig and Lynn spent summers at Boulder Lake in Duluth. A natural, full of life “people person,” his friendly personality would regularly enable him to reach out to and help others. His presence, affable smile and good nature will be missed by all.
