My heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the McKown family & Mini. In these difficult times I wish each and all of you fond memories to sooth your souls. I have known and worked with Dan for many years in the automotive industry and got to witness some extraordinary cars that he chopped, rebuilt and created into street rods and beautiful show cars. This was a man whose passion and abilities to turn a simple car into something specular was second to none. He truly cared & loved what he did. If you were lucky to have Dan as a friend , YOU WERE A LUCKY PERSON. In his unique personality, perpetual Pepsi can in hand and a sideways grin he was always there.
