I met Dan in 1994, we were in 2 recovery programs. I just loved him. Everytime I'd try and and play the bigshot by trying to drop a name, Dan knew the people surrounding him. He knew everybody. Miss ya buddy. John Traczewski

My Mother and I worked with Danny in the florist business for several years in Clearwater. Danny had an amazing personality and he made working fun. We all thought highly of Danny; he was a special person.

Danny was a good friend of my family. Many great memories of him spending time with my folks and the circle of friends they shared. Many fond memories from the time I worked for him at the flower shop. Truly blessed to have known him. Love you Danny.

From the start of my life, to the day I got married, to all the years in between, you gave love, laughter and guidance from your big heart. I’ll miss your laughter and guidance, but your love is stuck in my heart forever.
Rest in peace Uncle Dan. Now you’re with my momma and Aunt Lovina and your brothers.
All my love to you!

Uncle Dad was so special to me. He was the reason I went on to have children of my own. The light within him shone brightly. To know him was to love him. He believed in me and it mattered. In all of his infinite wisdom, he was full of encouragement. He would pick me up and dust me off when I failed. He was proud and always told me to "go for it". He cared for this family and all the members in it whether we deserved it or not! He had a way of caring/loving unlike anyone I ever knew. Now, don't get me wrong, he was not a Saint by any stretch of the imagination. He loved a good drama, whether it be on TV or maybe he would stir the pot a little himself!! He had a wicked sense of humor one that he had many years of developing and one we can all appreciate! One thing is for sure we were all drawn to his light and he will be missed beyond what words can convey. He was my rock, With much love and affliction....

Such a dear friend and special christen brother. I find great comfort in knowing I will see him again.
You will forever be a part of our family and live on in our hearts. We are greatly saddened about losing you but know that you can now rest in peace with the Lord. Thanks for being there for us. We love you, Uncle Dan! Ruthie Nelson Doles, daughter of Phyllis Nelson, and Family
