Daniel P. LaBella, 80, of Clearwater, Florida, passed Sunday, January 29, 2017. Dan was born May 1, 1936 in Torrington, Connecticut. He was the youngest son of Joseph and Beatrice LaBella. Dan moved his family to Clearwater in 1972. He worked as a Route Salesman in the Bakery industry for many years until his retirement.
Dan was always a fun loving man. He loved being a grandfather most of all. Our father was known by many people and they said he was the nicest person they ever knew. He will be truly missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rose; brothers, Charles, Vito (Billy) and sister, Mary.
Dan is survived by his four children, Bea (Chris) Maxfield, Dan (Huyen) LaBella, Tony (Gail Holmstrom) LaBella and Gina (Ike McNeil) LaBella. Dan was blessed with five grandchildren, Joe, Danielle, Tommy, Marissa, Meagan and his great-grandchild Zayden. Dan is also survived by his brother-in-law and his wife Tom (Jeanne) Clapps; sisters-in-law-Shirley Campbell, Carmela Heuschkel and Marge LaBella. Also, many nieces nephews and dear friends.
So Dad, Pop, Papa, Uncle Red, rest in peace, enjoy your family in Heaven and know your family here misses you. We will always love you.
To Danielle and Mikey on their Wedding Day, Papa wishes you the best with many years of happiness. He and grandma's loving spirit will be there.
