Daniel M. Toohill's Obituary
Daniel M. Toohill, 79, of Clearwater passed away Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Morton Plant Hospital. Daniel was born in Brooklyn, New York to John and Gertrude (McFarland) Toohill August 3, 1938. Dan was a USMC veteran and a member of St. Cecelia Catholic Church, Clearwater. Besides his parents, Dan is preceded in death by a daughter, Elizabeth Neeley Toohill; and a brother, John M. Toohill. He is survived by his wife of 50 1/2 years, Marte'; 2 daughters, Tara Sabina Toohill of Sydney, Australia, Megan Sinead Toohill Bonafonte (Carlos) of Palm Harbor, FL; a sister Sabina Toohill Costalos and 2 grandchildren, Sofia Elizabeth Bonafonte and Caleb Luke Bonafonte. Donations may be made to the YMCA Sr. Basketball program, 1005 S. Highland Ave, Clearwater, FL 33756. The family requests that you wear something green in honor of Dan's Irish heritage. Visitation will be Thursday, July 26, 12:00pm - 1:00pm at the funeral home and the funeral Mass will follow at 1:30pm, St. Cecelia Catholic Church, 820 Jasmine Way, Clearwater, FL 33756
