DAVID AMAN: MY BEST FRIEND
I met David at church. He came up to me and said: would you like to get a cup of coffee? I said: sure. Neither one of us drank coffee. I've known him for 27 years. David was a nice, humble, sensitive person. He was a good Christian. He walked the talk. No one is going to be perfect. God just wants you to try to be like Jesus, our example. He and a friend, helped a few widow women with fixing things or yard chores. He helped Gary move 5 times from apartment to apartment. We both liked to travel. His favorite places were: Jackson Hole, WY, Banff, B.C and Moab, UT. He took me to Yellowstone for my birthday one year. We met his parents there. I took him to Mackinaw Island, Sleepy Bear Dunes, Whitefish Junction, Copper Harbor and Traverse City, MI. We canoed down the Au Sable River. He liked to rent a car and drive to different places. We were planning on retiring to Pickens, S.C. because there is mountains there and I have relatives there and there is no Highway 19! We would go swimming at Honeymoon Island and Madiera Beach. David was the only person I have met that had the same perspective of the CREATOR and he world as I did. We would sit for hours a the Dunedin Marina and have discussions of world events in light of the Bible. When David was working for Keeble/Kelloggs, on Sundays, after church service, he would open his car trunk and people would come up to his car and he would hand them a box of cookies.
