David Craft III's Obituary
David Craft, III, 79, of Seminole, FL passed away July 15, 2019. He was born in Mahopac, NY October 8, 1939 to David Compton and Jennie (Bleakley) Craft. He graduated from Clearwater High School, Class of 1959. He was an avid Auto Mechanic and Race fan. At one time David owned a Gulf Station in St. Petersburg (9th St & 94th Ave). When he was younger he worked on and raced boats, micro midgets in Tampa; raced at Sunshine Speedway and was the track photographer for 5 years. Later he enjoyed helping his grandson with his racing. He attended Crossroads Christian Church. He is survived by his wife of 56 1/2 years, Teresa; 3 children, Rebecca (Tommy) Morgan, Barbara (Daryl) Welch, David John Craft; a brother, Arthur B. (Lois) Craft; and 8 grandchildren, Talon, Chelsi, Kristi, Hunter, Ashlyn, Travin, Tray and Mykayla.
