Hon. David M. Duffy's Obituary
Hon. David Michael Duffy, 74, of Minneapolis, MN and and Redington Shores, FL passed away Saturday, January 15, 2022 under Hospice care. He was born July 10, 1947, Brockton, MA to Walter J. Duffy, Sr and Mildred Alice (Bradley) Duffy, who have preceded him in death. David received his Bachelor's and his Juris Doctor from Villanova University. Before becoming a District Court Judge for the State of Minnesota, 4th Judicial District, David worked in private practice and then became an Assistant Public Defender for the State of Minnesota. He was a member of the Minnesota District Judges Association, serving on the Fourth Judicial District Executive Committee for several years, and was admitted to not only the Minnesota Supreme Court but also the Supreme Court of the United States. David is survived by a brother, Walter J. Duffy, Jr (Shelley Fitzmaurice); and several nieces and nephews.
