David E Kelley's Obituary
David E. Kelley passed away tuesday, September 24, 2013 in Safety Harbor, Florida. David was born on March 23, 1933 in Lynn, Massachusetts to the late Bernard and Marion Kelley. He was educated in Massachusetts and graduated from Lynn Classical High in 1950. After graduation he enlisted in the U.S. Army where he proudly served and defended his country in the Korean War (1953 - 1955). David was employed as a firefighter with the Lynn Fire Department for 40 years (1958 - 1998) during which time he received the high honor of Firefighter of the Year in 1991. David retired to Safety Harbor, Florida with his beautiful wife Marlene whom he shared 55 loving years with. He is survived by 3 children Kenneth (Michele) Kelley, David Kelley , and Valerie (Richard) Shaw; a sister, Edith Sutton; 13 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, Several Nieces and Nephews and a Beloved Doberman, Tascha. David is predeceased by his brother, Bernard Kelley.David will be honored in visitation at 11:30am at Moss Feaster Funeral Home, Dunedin Chapel on Saturday, September 28, 2013. A funeral mass will follow at St. Michael's the Archangel Church at 12:30pm; burial will follow at 2:00pm at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park.
