David Reed Jr.'s Obituary
David B. Reed Jr. of Clearwater, Florida, passed away on December 8, 2023. He is survived by his daughter, Eryn C. Reed, of Wellfleet, Massachusetts.
David is the son of Diane (Hunt) Dubuc and her husband Ronald P. Dubuc of Clearwater, Florida, and David B. Reed Sr. and his wife Phyllis of East Ridge, Tennessee. He is survived by his sister, Nicole M. Reed (Nichols) of Ringgold, Georgia; his brother Adam Chadbourne Reed of Sale Creek, Tennessee; and Daniel Earl Reed of Freeport, Florida. He leaves many aunts, uncles, and cousins, and his beloved cat Twinkie.
He was born October 5, 1969, in Attleboro, Massachusetts. He attended Plymouth, Massachusetts, and Mansfield, Massachusetts, public schools. He served his country in the U.S. Army Infantry.
David enjoyed the great outdoors and nature his entire life. From an early age he fished, hiked, and went on family camping trips to Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. He belonged to Boy Scout Troop 55 in Attleboro and went on many trips with the scouts. He traveled to many states and countries, and worked in logging, commercial fishing, construction, and as a marine mechanic. His hobbies included diving, writing, reading, computers, music, and cooking.
David will be remembered for his sense of humor, quick wit, and easy smile. He will be missed by many.
