David Alan Wilkinson's Obituary
WILKINSON, David “Tuna” 69, formerly of East Liverpool, Ohio, passed away December 17, 2018 in Dunedin, Florida. David was born on March 20, 1949 in East Liverpool and graduated from Beaver Local High School in 1967. He was a truck driver for Wallover Oil until his retirement in 2008.
David and his loving wife Janna were snowbirds for several years before moving to the Dunedin area permanently in 2015. He was lifetime member of the East Liverpool Elks Lodge and a member of the Dunedin Chapter of the American Legion and enjoyed riding his Harley, but most of all, David was a family man. His favorite place was at home surrounded by his family and friends, cooking and sharing a meal with those he loved. Tuna, as he was known to his friends, was a quiet, friendly man who people seemed to always gravitate towards.
He is survived by his wife, Janna Wathey Cable Wilkinson; sons Chad David Wilkinson of East Liverpool, Brad Payne (Nicki) of Lucky; and Ryan Payne (Vanessa) of Oregonian; grandchildren Kevan, Daniel, Nathan, Brenna, and Emily Payne; siblings George Wilkinson, M.D. (Pam) of Honolulu, HI, Mike Wilkinson (Laura) of East Liverpool, and Nancy Kauffman (Bill) of East Liverpool as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents George R Wilkinson and Betty Wines Wilkinson.
A Celebration of Life will be held at later date.
