On the first day we met you made me feel I was part of the family. You always told me how much you loved the Arts, Music and the Theater. That was our connection. We had many things in common, like a beautiful song we both loved to listen to, a breathtaking painting we admired from a book, or a Musical on the stage. Going out for Dinner with You - and You wore your favorite dress.Morris and I took you to see quite a few shows and plays. You loved every minute of it. So did we, because we were able to share it with You. I will always remember. PS: Say "Hello" to my Mom, I bet you both have lots to talk about.......Love always,Michael
Dawn you my be gone but never forgotten......God has a plan for me and I'm so blessed that he made you a part of it ...... I'm a better person because I knew you .... I love you and will see you again someday.God bless !
Oh Monica, I am so sorry to hear that. No one let me know. Close your eyes and feel my hug. I am so sorry for your loss, no words can take away your greif.I will pray for you and your family, may the Lord comfort you all.Only Time, Talk and Tears will even start to make to make things better.
Dear Mom, that's what you were to me. We butted heads many times over the years, but it sure was good seeing you when James was but 1. When we all wake in that great day and see each other again I've got a great BIG hug ready for you! To all you guys my deepest sympathy. Monica thank for sending me this link. Love to all. Charlie
dear sister Dawn, I hope you are in peace. I look forward to being with you. I love you very much. Love, Claudia
Dear "Aunt" Dawn, I can still hear you and my mother (Grace) laughing. I have so many wonderful memories of you and your children. Memories I will always cherish. You will be missed. God bless you and your loved ones, especially your children. Love you forever, Kathy Davis Crewes
I can't think of Aunt Dawn without feeling her wanderlust. She took us on twisting and turning mountain roads that we had no idea where they led. I remember going to Cripple Creek and so many other little towns... and getting lost sometimes. The things she taught us of adventure were priceless. I love that gal.
Monica so sorry about your mom sweetie. You were a good daughter.May her love always shine for you and your family here on earth.
Dawn's SongDaddy, come say my prayers with me.It's getting dark and I'm getting sleepy. It's time for bed and tome to say my prayers.Daddy, please come upstairs and say my prayers with me.As I lay my head on a nice soft pillow, I thank my God for giving me such a good Mom and Dad, who gave me such a nice soft pillow. Please, Daddy, please help me pray to God for giving you to me.I'm so tired, but I have a sad thought about a friend in school. His Daddy left home to go to a city.He has a new job, his Daddy was sad, his heart was sad to leave his family, what a pity.(Written by Dawn Rose Atkinson)She gave this poem to us on one of the last days we've seen her in July of 2012 in Florida.Morris & Michael
