Denis C. Devignez's Obituary
Denis C. Devignez, 76, of Dunedin, Florida passed away 12/29/21. He was born in Leige, Belgium 8/19/1945. He became a US citizen in 1958 and lived in Danbury, Connecticut and then Brookfield in 1968. In his early years, Denis worked for United Rentals, Marcus Dairy, was an owner/operator of his own Pepperidge Farm bread route. He was involved with race cars, street automobiles and diesel trucks a majority of his life. He was a part owner of a race car. He was an amazing auto body mechanic and painter. He built kit cars including the Auburn Boattail Speedster. Later in life he drove trucks for All Star Transportation and was a diesel mechanic. Denis was a fan of car racing from working on race cars, working in the pits and enjoying them as a spectator, especially sprint cars. He enjoyed vacationing at The Westwind Club in Nassau, Bahamas where we met many friends and enjoyed the Caribbean cuisine. Denis is survived by his loving wife, Deanna Devignez of 53 years, daughter Kimberly DeWitt, son William McCarthy, daughter Michele Belcastro and son Denis P. Devignez and 6 grandchildren.
