Dennis Hudacsko's Obituary
Dennis Hudacsko, 93, of Franklin Park, New Jersey and Dunedin, Florida died on Tuesday June 4, 2013 at Mease Hospital in Dunedin of post-stoke complications. His cremated remains were interred at Serenity Gardens, Largo, Fl.Born in the Old Bridge section of East Brunswick, NJ in April 1920, he grew up in Perth Amboy, NJ where his family attended the Hungarian Reformed Church. Dennis served in the Civilian Conservation Corp in 1936 and 1937. During WWII, he worked on the 'Manhattan Project' building prototypes with a captured German nuclear scientist. His marriage to Mary Haydu of Franklin Park, NJ, produced two sons: Dennis W. of Wantage, NJ and Kenneth A. of Silver Spring, Md along with four grand children and four great-grandchildren.He became a member of International Union of Painters and Allied Trades (IUPAT) and retired as President and Business Agent of Local 834. He was a former Deputy Chief and Fire Commissioner for the Franklin Park Volunteer Fire Department and a member of the East Franklin Department. In retirement, he was active with the Franklin Township Senior Citizen Club until he relocated exclusively to Dunedin, Florida where he was active with the Hungarian Social Club in Largo. Family, friends and acquaintances will gather to celebrate his life on Saturday November 16th at 2:00pm in Franklin Park, NJ and Saturday November 23rd at 2:00pm in Dunedin, FL.For details, contact Dennis W. at [email protected] or 908 229-4873.
