To the family of Diane Brown, I extend my most sincere sympathy on the death of this devoted woman of God! We shared a long relationship during my time with her on the Board of Trustees of Franciscan University of Steubenville, and then as Minister Provincial of the Franciscan Friars, TOR, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Franciscan University, I experienced directly the depth of holiness and true Christlike virtues of Diane and also her late husband, Herb. The love of God and the Catholic Church were always foremost in whatever they did, and brought countless spiritual blessings to so many. I have offered Holy Mass for the repose of her soul, and pray that she and Herb now share in the fullness of the love God had for them both. Her devotion, with the Marian Helpers, of her love our Our Blessed Lady, and that devotion touched countless people. I am so grateful to call both she and Herb, friends. I pray that Our Blessed Lord, and His Holy Mother, greeted her at the Gates of Heaven, and embraced her with he words "well done, good and faithful servant, come now, and for all eternity, share in the fullness of love I have promised to all who are so faithful". Thank you, Diane, for having been my friend and mentor. What a blessing to me to have known both Diane and Herb. Ever in the love of Christ, Fr. Richard L. Davis, TOR, Loretto, PA.
