Donald Dewey Hole's Obituary
Holiday FL. Donald D. Hole, 58, passed away July 9th, 2024, after an unexpected illness.
He was born November 23rd, 1965, in Muncie, IN. He lived there until re-enlisting in the U.S. Army in 2007. After training he was stationed in Ft. Richardson, Alaska where he was sent to Afghanistan and also stationed in Ft. Campbell KY and was sent to Iraq. He was in desert storm for his first enlistment. Donald was a brave and loyal soldier who loved serving his country. Donnie was employed at Waste Management as a supervisor & mechanic at the time of passing.
Donald was a loving and devoted husband and an amazing father. He took in three little girls whom he raised, loved, cared and supported as if they were his own. He was a kind, loving, and a very funny man and he made sure everyone he met left with a smile. He never judged or made anyone feel like they were not important. He was full of wisdom and always tried to live in the moment. He loved country music and loved playing his guitars in his spare time. Elvis was his favorite.
He is preceded in death by both his parents William “Bill” and Shelva Hole, infant son Donald “DJ” Hole Jr. and daughter Megan Rider
Survivors include his wife of 31 years Dawndeena, Father, Ken (Pops)Arnold of New York, father-in-law Martin Ray Bonham of Largo, FL. three daughters Donyale ( Davey) Storie, Muncie, IN. Miranda (Buford)Carter, Savannah, GA and Marissa Rider, Anderson, IN.
Donnie has nine grandchildren Kalynn, Daniel “Lil Donnie" and David Lee Storie, Hailey “Bug” Rider, Isabella “Boo” Pagan, Lakayla and Myles Carter, Riley & Liliana Heritage and special adopted grandchild Bindi Nellis
Donnie is survived by 6 siblings Vadetta (Joe) Line Anderson, IN. Billy (Barb) Hole, Muncie, IN. Troy (Christina) Hole Muncie, IN. Violet Embry Daleville, IN and Michelle Arnold Gillespie NY. 2 sisters-in-law Angie Bonham of Largo, FL. and Cheryl Bonham of Gainesville, FL.
Also surviving are several Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews.
Special friends Ed & Anne Vest, Gary Gillespie, Jared Nellis, John Crocker, Steve & Veronica Summitt and many friends at Waste Management.

A Celebration of Life will be held immediately after his military service in Sarasota, FL. on July 25, 2024 at 12:30pm at Der Dutchman restaurant and again in Indiana on a date TBD
