We will miss his sweet and kind smile...he was always true and loyal giving positive thoughts and direction through our Firestone Years...we also enjoyed his sharing such fun at our Gum Dipper reunions...with our deepest regrets Doris and Ed Contreras
Don Olson was a first class gentlemen who always reached out to others. The Gum Dippers will certainly miss his enthusiasm as will all his many friends. Our sympathies to his family. Trevor & Judy Hoskins.
We first met Don (and subsequently Doris) back in 1999 when we moved to Clearwater. Don had sold the business but stopped in the office frequently. He was one of the finest and most likable men We have known and was so giving and caring. You got a sense of his caring spirit with the Christmas display he set up every year until a few years ago. He will be missed by many and I am sorry I did not get to the Gumdippers that last 2 years to see him again. I will miss his calls saying “so are you going to be here for the reunion”. A class guy in all ways and was so deeply in love with Doris. Our sincere condolences to Jim and family. We will donate to Chapel by the Sea in his honor.
