Donald R Vance's Obituary
VANCE, Donald R. of Largo passed away peacefully on September 7, 2014. Donald moved to Florida in 1986 from Massachusetts. Donald served in the Army and following his military service he worked in civil engineering as a supervisor and consultant in heavy highway construction. Donald was affiliated with the Road Builders Association, Overstreet Paving Company and later he was the owner and consultant of Zicorp construction. Donald managed many other companies throughout the years including Advanced contracting services and Vance site and Rail services. Donald spent some time in New York where he was a member of the Freemasons. While living in Florida he loved to go out on his boat, play golf and watch sports. Donald enjoyed having nice dinners with family and friends.
Donald is preceded by his wife Roberta Vance of 25 years. He is survived by his son Robert Vance, daughter Nicole Buscemi(Carlton), sister; Sherry Bartrem (Peter);grandchildren Dante and Aiden Buscemi; nephews David, Darren, Mark Bartrem and Jason Wilkie.
The family is planning a memorial service Saturday September 20, 2104 at 1030 am at Moss Feaster Clearwater 693 S Belcher Rd, Clearwater FL 33764. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Heart Association.
