Donita Joan Holjes' Obituary
Donita Joan Holjes (Dee) passed away on Wednesday, 7-28-21 at Season's Hospice in Dunedin, Florida. Dee had been widowed in 2013 after 48 years of marriage to Ralph W. Holjes.
Dee was born in 1934 in Hillsboro, New Hampshire and was one of 8 children. She moved to Florida in the early 60's with her Mother and her sister Jeanne.
Dee and Ralph met in Dunedin many moons ago, married in 1964, and settled in Dunedin Florida to raise their family.
Dee was very active in the community, was a true homemaker, loved to play tennis, and was a great Mom, grandmother, and friend.
Dee / Mom / Grandma is survived by her 5 children and 5 grandchildren, her sister Jeanne Hall, and her long-time friends.
Most recently Dee was cared for by the team at the Colonnade at Beckett Lake, and the Season's Hospice care team, and her family and friends are forever grateful for that care!!!!
