Donna Belle Engel's Obituary
It is with profound sadness we announce the death of Donna Belle Engel (born in Pittsburgh, PA.),
who left us peacefully on October 14, 2024 at the age of 90. Daughter of Nathan and Esther
Mattes (deceased). Widow of John Hal Engel. Sister of the late Sidney and Verne Rubin. Mother
of Jay Alan Weil (Rito) and Dennis Lee Weil (Lorise); step-mother of John Engel (Ellen) and Margie
Wheat. Grandmother of Arnie (Shayna), Zachary and Nathan Weil. Step-grandmother of Kelly
McGann, Michael and Charlie Jones, and Patrick and Daniel Engel. Numerous great grandchildren
and beloved cousins in Pittsburgh and around the U.S.
The family wishes to send a special thank you to Brian Dasch for his care, compassion and support
of Donna for many years.
A private Memorial Service will be held at Moss Feaster Funeral Home at 693 South Belcher Rd,
Clearwater FL 33764, on October 28th at 2PM.
No flowers please. Any contributions should be made to Moffitt Cancer Center.
