Dorothy W. Garrison's Obituary
Dorothy Williams Garrison, 93, of Palm Harbor, passed away June 13, 2014. Born in Altoona, PA, to Irving and Vida R. Williams, she has joined them and her husband of 59 years, Glen Nolan Garrison, and brothers, Donald Robert Williams and John Gordon Williams. She is survived by her brother Denzyl Williams, her children: Roberta Prine of Tallahassee, FL; Mary Garrison of Tarpon Springs, FL; Glenna (William) Pieratt of Dunedin, FL; Catherine Haight of Crawfordville, FL; and William Garrison of Placida, FL; eight grandchildren: Roger (Shauna) Clark, Russell (Amy) Clark, Debra (Derek) Gregory, Raymond Pieratt, William (Marie) Garrison, Justin (Rose) Garrison, Michael Haight, Matthew Haight and seven great-grandchildren. She was a homemaker and with her husband raised her children in Oldsmar, FL. Upon retirement, they resided in Weeki Wachee, FL, and Franklin, NC, when they weren't travelling to all 50 states. She loved her flower gardens around her homes. She was active in the United Methodist churches and communities where she lived. Her sewing and knitting skills delighted her children and grandchildren and were passed on to many of them. She was a nurturing and caring person to all. Visitation will be held on June 17, 2014 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Dunedin Moss Feaster Funeral Home in Dunedin. Internment will be at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Gardens in Safety Harbor.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the
