Dorothy E Lucas' Obituary
Lucas, Dorothy Eileen Harper, 93 of Seminole Passed away on Jan. 2, 2016 She was born on July 9, 1922 in Kentish Town, London England to Samuel and Daisy Harper. During WWII, Dorothy worked as an inspector on the Halifax Bombers at the Handley-Page Aircraft Factory. The family stayed in London during the War and this is where she met her future Husband John P. Lucas Sr., who was in the US Army. After marriage, Dorothy and John moved around Europe as part of John’s deployment and eventually moved to the US and finally settled in Florida. Dorothy worked at E-Systems in St. Petersburg. Later she obtained a realtor license and stayed a realtor until she retired at 88 years old. She leaves behind a son John P. Lucas Jr. (Bonita), a granddaughter Vicky Delacruz (Jason), both of Seminole, a brother Bobby Harper and numerous Nieces and Nephews, and Cousins all living in England. A graveside service will be held Tuesday January 19 at 9:15 am at the Bay Pines Veterans Cemetery Bay Pines Florida. All info at www.mossfeasterclearwater.com
