My Nani Poem (Gwen and Elijah)
I loved my Nani very much but she has gone away
She was the very best Nani and I wanted her to stay
I know I can think of her with her loving little smiles
And all the gifts she gave to me as there were piles and piles
I will remember Nani watching over me while having lots of fun
She would offer her advice and a memory of us had simply just begun
I know I can think of her when lying in my bed
Because of all the great things that my Nani shared and said
I know I’m small and not too tall but I tell I do care
That Nani left too soon for me and it doesn’t seem too fair
I know I can think of her and this is what I will say
You were the very best Nani in every single way
