Edward W. Hanes' Obituary
Edward (Eddie) W. Hanes (58) passed away on January 8, 2018. Eddie was born and raised in Baltimore, MD on December 16, 1959 and moved to Clearwater, FL in 1984. Eddie is survived by his mother Mary Vaughn of Clearwater, FL, his brother Frank Hanes of Clearwater, FL, his sister Judy (Hanes) Colettis of Clearwater, FL, his niece Julia (Levy) Lotterer of Reisterstown, MD, nephew Mikey Trump of Citra, FL, niece Cara Trump of West Hollywood, CA, and great nephews of Reisterstown, MD Layne Lotterer, Lukas Lotterer and Liam Lotterer. Eddie was predeceased by his step-father George R. Vaughn Jr. and his Sister Mary (Hanes) Trump.
Eddie was an avid motocross racer growing up in Maryland. He moved to Florida and became a carpenter. He then traded in his tools for a chef’s knife and got into the hospitality industry which is what led him to his love of cooking. He worked in, cooked in, managed and co- owned restaurants.
Before Eddie left this earth he was on a mission to be well and help others. His mission was unfortunately cut short. So in Eddie’s honor we are going to continue that mission. Eddie wanted to have a fund raiser for the people who gave him hope when no one else could. So if you would like to honor Eddie in a wonderful way and help others as well, please make a donation in honor of Eddie to Lovethegoldenrule.com.
