Bob Stauffer
This message is especially for Craig and Jay. It was a very long time ago and you were the best kids a teacher could ever hope to share a space with. That space was Ardmore Junior High and there was no better space in the whole world. I was but a kid myself trying to learn how to teach math.
Yeah your Dad invited the whole bunch of us "leopards" to a Flyers game in the infancy of what was to become a fever of passion for Philadelphia and beyond. We had a truly great principal in Harry Donald. He called us all to the auditorium and the next thing you know the buses were rolling.
In the many years that have passed I have often thought of both of you even though I never taught Jay. Craig your smile was contagious for all of us teachers and we talked about you boys with the highest praise, a gift from Dad and others. I admired your positive approaches to life making those around you think of pretty things. much needed in today's world. I loved AJHS! It was the best time of my life.
Best wishes to both of you.
Bob Stauffer, retired math teacher AJHS and LMHS
