Eileen Dorothy Fehrenbacher's Obituary
Eileen Dorothy (Benson) Fehrenbacher died peacefully in her sleep on September 14, 2019 at the age of 95. She was born on March 21, 1924 to Edwin and Ruth (Olson) Benson in Chicago, Illinois. After attending a two-year business school, with a head for figures, she became a consummate bookkeeper.
Eileen married the man of her dreams, Lawrence Rixon Fehrenbacher, in Chicago in September of 1947. Eileen and Laurie had two children, Keith Rixon Fehrenbacher and Diane Eileen Bokor, whom they raised in Des Plaines, Illinois.
Eileen was a kind and well-read woman who was known for her lovely smile, her fancy fox trot and the world’s most beautiful handwriting - among other wonderful traits. She lived near or with her devoted son for the past eight years in Dunedin, Florida.
Eileen is survived by her younger sister, Evelyn Dietz of Chicago, Keith, Diane, her granddaughter, Delaney Eileen (Sock) Leigh and her two great-grandchildren, Harper Lou and Brian Joshua Leigh.
She will be missed by all that knew and loved her. May angels sing her to her rest.
