My deepest condolences to Charlie and family on the loss of their beautiful wife and mother. Louise was a class act and a kind and caring woman. I sat next to her in band for three years at Clearwater High. We became friends during that time and greeted each other warmly on the occasions when we met after high school. May she rest in peace until you are together again.

Louise and her parents became friends of my family when they spent winter months at the Sea Shell in the 1940s and for many years thereafter. She was an only child, as was I. Since I was six years older than Louise, I was often asked to baby-sit with her. We frequently played on the beach and around the Sea Shell property, enjoying games with the other children there. We went fishing with my dad (Capt. Jimmy) on the "Katy Did" and rode around surveying the cattle at the Hoosier Bell Ranch. Thank you for sharing your lovely tribute to this remarkable woman. It not only demonstrates your loving bond, but it also brought back the wonderful, carefree times we all spent together so many years ago. She will be missed.
