Elizabeth Marie Kostka's Obituary
Elizabeth "Bette" R. Kostka (nee Rosato) 91, of Clearwater, FL., passed away peacefully Sunday January 22, 2023. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, she was the beloved wife of the late Dr. Robert A. Kostka for 52 years. They moved to Clearwater in the early 70's to open the Guardian Angel Foot Center where she served as Dr. Bob's Certified Podiatric Medical Asst. for 36 years.
She is survived by her sister Anna Mae Wilbert of Pittsburgh, nieces Cheryl, Marianna, Pamela, Darlene, and Ruth Ann of Pittsburgh, Linda and Gloria of Tarpon Springs, and Atlanta respectively, Karen of Follansbee, WV; and nephews Robert and William of Pittsburgh, and Robert of Richmond.
"Bette" cultivated a wide circle of dear friends and a variety of interests including traveling home and abroad, reading, movies, bowling; and was a long time member of Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club where she hit the links with energy and humor.
Bette's generosity and grace, bubbly personality, easy laugh and sparkling blue eyes will be missed. "Good Night Irene".
Viewing is to be held at Moss Feaster Funeral Home, 693 S. Belcher Rd. Clearwater, on Thursday, 1/26/23, from 5-8PM.
A mass will be held on Friday, 1/27/23, 10AM, at Light of Christ Church in Clearwater, where she was a faithful member. Interment services will be held following at Curlew Hills Memory Gardens, Palm Harbor.
