Elizabeth Susan Long 's Obituary
LONG, Elizabeth Susan “Lisa” 47, of Dunedin, passed away June 12, 2016.
Lisa loved children. She began her career as an elementary teacher in 1990 and progressed to elementary administration at Walsingham Elementary where she served five years as assistant principal. Lisa earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from the University of South Florida and later her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership at Nova University.
Lisa was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Elmer and Delphia Copenhaver; paternal grandfather James Wade; and uncle Ronnie Copenhaver.
She is survived by her children Derrick (Jazmin) Brown, Haley Brown, and Hannah Long; parents Vicki and Jim Wade; sister Debbie (Andy) Meyer; paternal grandmother Reba Wade; aunts Pam Via and Pat Copenhaver; uncle Steve (Dreama) Wade; nephew Andy Herbolsheimer, and a large extended family.
A gathering for family and friends will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm and followed by a memorial service at 4 pm on Sunday June 19th at Moss Feaster Funeral Home 1320 Main Street, Dunedin. Flowers are welcome, however for those who wish to do so, donations may be directed to Suncoast Hospice.
