Debbie Oconnor
Ann and Jim welcomed me into their family when I moved from New York to Florida many decades ago, and they continued to make me feel at home for years after. Ann was kind, funny, and full of warmth. I loved hearing her stories about what life was like in Florida before the influx of snowbirds—she was the epitome of a true Floridian.
Some of my fondest memories are of our evening visits with Ann and Jim. They’d pour their Kahlua and cream cocktails, and we'd sit on the back porch, chatting for hours. Another unforgettable moment was the family reunion at Chipotle, where I saw my first rattlesnake.
It's hard to believe how much time has passed since I first met Ann and the family. I'll miss you, Ann. You left a lasting mark on my heart.
Debbie
