85, of Clearwater entered into eternal rest on October 11, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph A. Viale. She is survived by her four children, Patricia Wuest (Tom), John D. Viale (Sue), Diane Viale and James "Jim" A. Viale (Katie), her grandchildren, Jesse T. Wuest, Travis Jon "TJ" Wuest (Amanda), Emily Kate Wuest, Justin Viale (Erin), Eric Viale, Tyler Viale, Sean Viale (Amanda), her great-grandchildren, Ariel Marie Wuest and Joseph Ruel Viale, her brother, William "Bill" Carey (Mary), sisters, Joan Wolf and Edna Reid, her nieces and nephews and numerous friends. Emily was born on March 20, 1930, to the late Edna and William Carey, in Jamaica, New York. She married Joseph on May 30, 1953. At the time, she was a bookkeeper in Manhattan. She became a full-time homemaker, and moved several times, to Massachusetts, Nebraska, Illinois, Ohio, New Jersey and Indiana, before settling permanently in Florida. She loved the beach, swimming, reading and playing cards, but it was her family and friends who gave her the greatest joy. She was a beloved great-grandmother, grandmother, mother, sister, aunt and friend. Our weekly card games will be forever cherished and she will be forever missed. The family will receive friends and celebrate her life on Saturday, Oct. 17th, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Moss Feaster Funeral Home, 693 S. Belcher Rd., Clearwater 33764.
