Emma Teresa Appelt's Obituary
APPELT, Emma Teresa , 84 of Clearwater passed peacefully on January 18, 2016. Emma was born on April 15, 1931 in Staten Island, NY to parents Giovanni and Antoinette Galuppi. Emma moved to the Clearwater Area from Staten Island in 1977. She worked as a medical office manager and was very dedicated to her career. After retirement Emma spent her time volunteering at Morton Plant Hospital and attending services at Light of Christ Catholic Church. She enjoyed shopping, cooking and traveling to spend time with her family. Emma was a very caring and loving soul and she will be missed by all who knew her.
She is predeceased by her husband of 42 years, James Appelt Sr.; parents Giovanni and Antoinette ; and daughter KathyAnn who is survived by her husband Sy. Other Survivors include daughters, Diane and husband Phil, Janet; son, James Jr. and wife Lori; twelve grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Cancer Society.
Friends will be received on Friday, Jan. 22nd, from 6-8 p.m.
