There are so many, but besides our annual Easter trips to your house in Florida with the most epic Easter egg hunts, our family camping trip to Niagara Falls, and the numerous times you pranked me calling our house (you got me every time!), my favorite memory of you is when you took me, Charlie, Brenda & Michele to a Go-Kart amusement park. Little did we know, you had a pair of fake hillbilly teeth in your back pocket you were waiting to whip out at the perfect time. We were standing in line to enter the park, the place was packed that day! You put in your fake teeth and turned into Uncle Eric Billy Bob the hillbilly, doing your best to embarrass us in front of the crowds of people, but I couldn’t stop laughing at how hilarious you were. You were always my funny uncle and your excellent sense of humor is what made you loved by so many. You served our country in your years in the Coast Guard, and you made two amazing children, my cousins Charlie & Brenda. You were taken too soon from this earth, maybe they needed some more laughter up there in heaven. So glad I got to catch up with you a couple weeks ago. I’ll cherish that conversation we had forever. Thanks for visiting me in my dream for that final hug. Until we meet again Uncle Eric, I love you 💗
