Esther J. Fortenberry's Obituary
Esther Jeanette Fortenberry, 97, of Clearwater, passed into heaven December 13, 2017. She was born in Port Richey, FL and grew up in the Clearwater-Dunedin area. She was a long time member of Skycrest Baptist and later North Dunedin Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her husband of 53 years marriage, Lt. Col. Hermon Fortenberry (USAF, Ret.). Her parents, brother and four sisters also preceded her in death. Survivors include her son, Bill Fortenberry (Mary Ann) of Warner Robins, GA; daughter, Joy Fortenberry Brieske (Joel) of Clearwater; grandsons, Ty Brieske, Eli Jones and great-granddaughter, Harlee Jones. Visitation will be Monday, Dec. 18th 10am-11am at the funeral home, 693 S. Belcher Rd, Clearwater followed by a graveside service at 11:30am at Sylvan Abbey.
