Eugene F. Steslicki Sr.'s Obituary
STESLICKI, Eugene F Sr. 91, of Belleair Beach passed away peacefully on September 25, 2016. He was born in Detroit, Mi. on November 11, 1924. He was a graduate of Wheaton College and a devout parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Dearborn, Michigan.
Eugene was a Bronze Star decorated Army veteran of WWII and a received a Purple Heart. He fought in the Pacific beach landings of Leyte Gulf and Okinawa. Following the war he worked for General Motors as an engineer for thirty years until retirement. He enjoyed spending time with the “Jolly Boys” club for GM, and also being with his family and his wife Rose of over 70 years of marriage.
He is survived by his wife Rose; son, Eugene Jr. (Bud); daughters, Linda, Nancy, Bonnie, Deborah and twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Eugene is predeceased by his son, John, and 12 brothers and 1 sister.
