Evelyn H. Aumuller's Obituary
Evelyn Helen Aumuller passed away peacefully early Saturday morning, June 3.
She was born April 25, 1929 in Manhattan, New York, to Markus and Emmy Duser, and grew up in Bradley Gardens, New Jersey. She worked in her parents bakery and grocery, helping with everything, whether filling jelly donuts or driving the delivery truck. During her high school years, Evelyn's flair for fashion motivated her to excel in sewing, coordinating beautiful handmade outfits with just the right accessories. After high school, she pursued business school, financing, sports, and Bob Aumuller. After Bob's time in the Army, he and Evelyn were married October 2, 1949. They lived with Evelyn's parents for a few months while Bob and Mr. Duser built a house on Cedar Grove Road, North Branch. Both Evelyn and Bob worked at Bellemeade General Depot. Their life together involved family, friends, church family, and eventually, a son and two daughters, Robert Jr., Janet and Beverly.
In 1959, the Aumullers moved to Florida, and again stayed with Evelyn's parents, while their new house was being built in High Point. Here they raised their three children in the fear and admonition of the Lord.
Evelyn's employment history in the Pinellas County area includes Mr. 8%, Terrence Homes, the Water Company, Loan Closing Officer First Federal of Largo, and Parker Battaglia & Ross, St. Pete. All during her work days, she maintained tight associations with her family - her children, her parents, neighbors and girlfriends. In 1982, she retired to be more involved with family, to travel, and to enjoy and serve in church circles, voluntary association with the auxiliary and board of Sunshine Christian Home/Holiday, which she did until her death.
After 67 years of marriage, life with Bob was still intertwined with dear friends from far and near, their First Christian Church/Clearwater family and their three children and spouses: Beverly and husband Ron Womack, Placentia, California, Bobby and wife Phyllis, of Largo, Janet and husband Dennis Simmons, of Granite Falls, North Carolina. Until her death, Evelyn was the proud grandmother of thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and Evelyn's brother Arthur Duser and his wife, Joyce, live in Mt. Dora.
Evelyn Aumuller's loyalty to her people, and dynamic love of service has been exempler. Her work ethic has, no doubt, been passed down through the best genetic channels. Her joy and contentment and hospitality overflowed to all around her. Evelyn's family honors her for her humor, her soft sterness, her attention to detail, her diligence and excellence in every project, her thoughtfulness with every gift, her listening ear, her empathy toward the suffering, her fervant prayer life, and most importantly, her undying devotion to Jesus Christ.
"The Lord is good; His loyal love is everlasting and his mercy endures to all generations." Psalm 100:5
