Faye was my aunt. Her husband was John Walter Oakley, Jr., not Jon D. Oakley.
Faye was a beloved friend in my life, and in the lives of our children, Rachel and Angela. We were blessed to know and love her for over 35 years. Her heart remained filled with joy to the end, even through very rough times. We were able to see her again 3 weeks before she passed, and that memory along with hundreds of other memories will remain vivid in our hearts. She was a gift from God to us.
