Francis X. Grealish's Obituary
Francis X Grealish 89 of Clearwater, beloved husband of the late Mary J Grealish with whom he shared 65 years of marriage, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family December 23, 2023.
Born in Lynn, Ma. Francis was the son of William and Margaret (Greeley) Grealish. Francis was raised in Lynn and graduated from Lynn Classical High School. Francis left college to enlist in the Armed Forces.
Francis is a proud Veteran having served in the Army during the Korean War.
Francis met his wife Mary at a dance in Beverly and they were inseparable from that moment on.
A devoted husband and father, Francis worked hard and provided a beautiful life and home for Mary and their four children. He was a little league coach for the boys and always front and center at their basketball games, swim meets and ski races. Francis was an accomplished entrepreneur; He was an owner and general manager of many successful establishments. Later on, he taught Hotel and Restaurant Hospitality courses and attained his Real Estate Broker license.
Along with Mary he was very active in fundraising for many worthy causes.
Having visited Florida many times Mary and Fran made the move to Clearwater permanently.
Francis loved having the family together and always created a great meal to enjoy.
One of his greatest joys was spending time with and caring for his grandchildren.
He will be truly missed but his loving presence will embrace us always.

Children; William Grealish of Clearwater, Francis Grealish Jr of Lynn, Kelly Simone of Dunedin.
4 Grandchildren; Jared, Joshua, Esther and Adeline. 2 Great Granddaughters; Isla and Caroline.
Francis was predeceased by his beloved son John P Grealish.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
