Frank Amos' Obituary
Frank Amos, 69, passed away on March 19th, 2025, in Clearwater, Florida. Frank was born on March 17th, 1956, in Charleroi, Pennsylvania, at the Charleroi Hospital. He was raised in Bentleyville by his parents Hamilton and Madelyn Amos, the 5th of 7 children. Frank went on to attend Bentworth High School, where he graduated.
After graduation, he began an illustrious working career, beginning at United Dairy Company as a Delivery Driver, then Auto Body, to a manager at Bob’s Carwash, and finally as a Supervisor at West Pharmaceuticals. On August 2nd, 1980, Frank married the love of his life, Linda. In 2006 he retired after working for 41 years.
Frank spent much of his retirement on his hobbies, restoring old cars and woodworking. You could hear him tinkering around with something in the garage, maybe an old car, listening to his 70’s Rock. He was a family man through and through, full of honesty, care, trueness and love. His favorite time of the year was Christmas, watching The Christmas Story on repeat, but above all was his time spent with family at family events or even just little visits. Frank was also a faithful man, his Baptist faith was the bedrock fueling his immense love for his family, his country, and God.
Frank is predeceased by his parents, Hamilton and Madelyn Amos, as well as four of his brothers: Wayne, Bill, Johnnie, and Hamilton Amos.
Frank Amos is survived by his loving wife, Linda Amos; his brothers Willard and James Amos; his son Gilbert (Rachel) Stainbrook; his daughters Catrena (Dennis) Shirley and Cammie (Steve) Weeks; grandsons Steven Weeks, Brenton Shirley, Daniel Weeks, Darren Weeks, Gilbert Stainbrook, Dalton Shirley, and Derek Stainbrook; granddaughters Ashley Weeks and Casadi Seman; great-grandsons Camden Haas, Barrett Shirley, Bennett Shirley, Beckett Shirley, Bowen Seman, and Ryker Weeks; great-granddaughters Alanya Stainbrook, Jasmina Haas, Payton Weeks, Delylah Stainbrook, and Ella Weeks.
Franks services will be held on Sunday, March 23rd, at Moss Feaster Funeral Home in Clearwater, Florida, from 2PM-4PM. Services in Pennsylvania will be held at Kepner Funeral Home in Wheeling, West Virginia on Saturday, April 5th from 11AM-1PM.
