Frank S Cello's Obituary
Frankie Cello was born on January 29, 1915 to Vincent and Rosalie Cillo in Ft. Lee New Jersey. He was one of twelve siblings. Frankie was a proud WWII veteran serving in the Pacific Theater. Many years after the war he moved to Pinellas Park in 1956, with his wife Carmella, Daughter Susan and his in laws Ernest and Elvira Caflero. Frank started his career in produce with Webb City in 1956 and eventually retired from Kash N Karry in 1977. After retirement he started working with Lansbrook Golf and Country Club as the Ranger and the starter , a position he held until his 90’s. Frankie was an accomplished golfer with a 2 handicap and a career high 6 holes in ones. Frankie had many adventures and in 2011 he had his own personal honor flight.
It’s all green and eagles from now on POP! We will miss your laugh, your smile and your singing. The family would like to thank the staff at Sylvan Terrace for all their caring and compassion that help make his last 1 ½ years a joy.
