Frederick Delano Alexander's Obituary
ALEXANDER, Frederick Delano “Fritz”, 83, of Clearwater, passed away December 22, 2017.
Fritz was a proud Vietnam era U.S. Army veteran. He was a longtime employee of the U.S. Postal Service in Mansfield, Ohio and more recently worked for the Pinellas County School System in Florida. Fritz enjoyed playing golf at Cove Cay Country Club and was a member of the American Legion Post #7 of Clearwater, FL.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James W. and Bertha Rose Alexander; sisters Marilyn Shanklin and Ruth Ann Alexander; brother, Mel Alexander. Frederick is also preceded in death by both his first wife, Ona Perry Alexander, and his second wife, Jeanne Acunto Alexander.
He is survived by his sisters Mary (Tom) Seckerson, of Florida, Betty Hinklin of Ohio, Joanne Gaston of Ohio, Carol Daugherty of Ohio, and Nancy (Chuck) Messmore of Ohio; brother, Jim (Sally) Alexander of Ohio; stepchildren Kathleen Ferris and Diane Haser of Maryland; step-grandchildren Michael Santacroce of Maryland, Megan Vito of Virginia, and Mark Haser, Beth Tanner, and Erin Haser of Massachusetts. Frederick is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, as well as five stepchildren from his first marriage.
