G. Kirk Smith, 82, of Largo, passed away Mon. Nov. 13, 2017. His life experiences included being a pro golfer, an entrepreneur, an avid fisherman and hunter. Kirk is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jaclyn Cournoyer and is survived by his wife of 57 years, Myrna Quidley Smith; children, Ronda Smith, Lisa Vaughn (husband Chris, children Tanner, Skyler), Jana Shriver (husband Brian, children Brian Shriver, Jr., Brittini Shriver, Zackary Shriver), Frank Smith (wife Kelly, children Allen Smith, Heather Espina), Debbie Cournoyer (children Jennifer Alford, Kayla Cournoyer); 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Suncoast Hospice Foundation, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd, Clearwater, FL 33760. Private services are planned but the Celebration of Life is public.
