Condolences from your cousin Paul Palmeri and Family rest in peace you will be missed.
Firstly, My family and I want to express our deepest sympathy and condolences to Gabe's family.
Gabe was my Supervisor in the 70s & 80s.
I had the opportunity or better said, he gave me the opportunity to be part of his Chase team that under his leadership made notable contributions in the Operations & Systems enhancement and successes in the Western Hemisphere, particularly in Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, Panama & Dominican Republic.
There was a lot to do and Sr. Mgmt. expectations were excessive. Gabe had to deploy his staff which were not numerous to accomplish never before attempted tasks in limited time frames . In my particular case family stresses became commonplace. However, Gabe had a knack of considering family and always found a way of balancing objectives with personal issues. My children used to refer to him as "Uncle Gabe".
Today as adults they still remember all the adventures he "put them thru". All thank him for the opportunities we were afforded as a result of all the International travel involved in achieving objectives.
GABE... you'll be missed and never forgotten.
George Lacen & family
Proud to serve as Vice President for Chase under his leadership in Argentina, Panama, Puerto Rico, and the Caribbean Region based in Miami. Rest in Peace my friend!
