Gary was always and inspiration in our family. He reminded us of our souls and eternal life in gentle ways. May the Angels lead you to paradise Gary.
I worked with Gary for several years in PA at Penn Miller's Insurance Co. He was a great guy and I learned much about underwriting through him. I am sad to hear this as I though of him today and did a google search. Thanks Gary.
Saddened to see this. He was a good friend.
Christine- What a wonderful man your dad was! Darrell and he had such a fun time working together at Ohio Casualty- the stories they told were so funny! We loved having him at our place- what a great storyteller- so honest and interesting and funny!. He was so proud of you and your family! Our kids loved him too. We have such great memories and look forward to being re-united with him one day. Love, Amy and Darrell Frantz and family
I never stopped thinking of Gary! He was a true friend. Boy did we have alot of fun working at Ohio Casualty. I will say a special prayer for him this Sunday. God bless Gary. Thanks Darrell Frantz
Dear Christine and other Grausam family members,My deepest sympathy to you on the loss of your father, brother, uncle, and dear friend to so many. You all are in my thoughts and prayers today as always. Please know that I share your grief with you and wish I could have joined you for his memorial service. Gary will be sorely missed. Thank you for sharing all the photos. They brought many memories and lots of warmth as I recalled our adventures together. The beautiful tributes written by family and friends brought tears.May love bring you comfort and time bring you peace,
Gary was a frequent guest at my parents home in Jackson, Pa. when he and my Dad, Barry Corrigan, worked together at Ohio Casualty. The news that Gary was coming for dinner was all it took to lift the mood of everyone in the family! His visits were always fun, lively and full of kidding back and forth. Gary had that knack of treating a young teen like an adult and making us feel wonderful. It is with great sorrow that we all heard of his passing, but I also think with a little of that mysterious joy peculiar to faith. Often between the joking and kidding around Gary would visit the topic of faith, heaven and the need to trust in God. I can only imagine the consolation he experiences now that his many sufferings are through. John Corrigan
Thank all of you who attended Gary's memorial service and/or who have acknowledged his presence in your life in this guest book. He was a thoughtful, loving son, brother, father and grandfather who enjoyed reaching out to friends and family consistently through all the years of his life. Gary always acknowledged important dates in my life with prayers and good wishes. I will miss his warm presence, and I wish him well on his journey to the Heaven in which he so strongly believed. My warm condolences to Christine and her family on the loss of her father. John Grausam (Winchester, MA)
Seeing a photo of myself with Gary on Sunday, I was reminded of what a wonderful sense of play he had and how he always greeted me with a warm hug and a big, impish smile. It was easy to be Gary's friend, as he made me feel like family. His passing on is a great loss to us all. I trust that he will find my Mom, Hilde on the other side and share stories about which they can have a good chuckle. (Katrin Winterer, Winchester, MA)
