Genrose D Plumb's Obituary
“Genrose Dampier Plumb of Clearwater, Florida passed away on February 24, 2015. Genrose was born in Inverness, Florida on February 20, 1919 to the late Earl and Sarah Dampier of the pioneer Dampier family of Citrus County. She became part of another pioneer family, The Plumbs of Pinellas County, when she married Robert B Plumb in 1937 and moved to Clearwater. Genrose is survived by her son Ralph E. Plumb, her sister Ida Wyngarden, and grandaughters, Laura Plumb-Duda and Dr. Allison M. Plumb. Genrose was beloved by all who knew her and will deeply missed. A memorial service will be held Thursday, March 5 at 11:00AM at the Largo Cemetery at 1232-1298 Jasper Street in Largo just east of Missouri Avenue.. Donations can be made to either the Clearwater Historical Society or the Citrus County (FL) Historical Society in lieu of flowers if you wish.”
