George Alfred "Coach" Hemond's Obituary
George Alfred "Coach Hemond", 85, of Dunedin, Florida, was born in Bristol, Connecticut. He served in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany. He played Military Football while stationed in Germany and won the league championship.
George was an Educator, Teacher and Football Coach. He was predominately a Football Coach, but also coached Baseball and Wrestling in his career. He won two state championships in Football, one in New Hampshire and one in Massachusetts. While being the head coach at Dunedin High school, he won two district championships, going 10-0, 10-0 back to back.
