George A. Rich, 82 of Clearwater, FL. passed on Sunday, January 30th at Mease Countryside Hospital.George was born in the Bronx, New York, and moved to Florida in 1977 from Alexandria Virginia.He served as a Firefighter in Washington, D.C. for more than 20 years.George was a WWII Navy Veteran. He was a Past Grand Knight, and Faithful Navigator with The Knights of Columbus in Clearwater and Espiritu Santo Catholic Church where he was also a member.George is survived by his wife, Lillian of 60 years, son, John of St. Petersburg, two daughters, Barbara Daley of Ft.Worth Texas, Sandra Solarek of Colorado Springs, CO; four grandchildren, Katie, Maggie, Nicole and Mickey and five great-grandchildren.A viewing will be held on Thursday, February 3rd at 2:00-5:00pm at Moss Feaster Funeral Home, located 1320 Main Street Dunedin with a Wake Service at 3pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, Feb 4th at 11:00 am at Espiritu Santo Catholic Church, located 2405 Phillippe Parkway in Safety Harbor with Burial to follow at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park Cemetery.Arrangements under the direction of Moss Feaster Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Dunedin, FL.
